I have been thinking about the things we sow that no one is going to see.<\/p>\n
The seeds that do not bloom in the season we expected. The kind gestures that got no response. The inner processes, the ones that cannot be shown or shared, that happen in the darkness of the body and the mind.<\/p>\n
A few years ago I planted a walnut tree. It is still there, growing slowly, and it has not given a single nut yet. They told me walnut trees take their time. That they put down roots first, a long time of roots, and only then dare to bear fruit.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I feel like that walnut tree. Sowing things that cannot be seen yet, working in silence, without knowing when the harvest will come. And there are days when that weighs on me.<\/p>\n
But then I remember that the invisible also counts. That there is a harvest that is not gathered with the hands, but with the life we live. That what we sow in ourselves, even if no one sees it, bears fruit in how we treat others, in how we treat ourselves.<\/p>\n
