There is a river near my home where I go when I need to remember how to move forward without forcing it.<\/p>\n
I watch it and I never see it hurry. It goes around the stone, slides along the bend, sometimes jumps, sometimes slows into a pool. It does not ask how much is left. It does not compare itself with the mountain torrent rushing downhill or with the lake that has already arrived. It simply keeps going.<\/p>\n
I have noticed that almost everything I was taught to value is in a hurry. Results, goals, answers. And yet, the processes that have truly transformed me were slow, almost invisible, like water wearing down a stone.<\/p>\n
Lately I allow myself to flow like the river. There are days of fast current, when the energy asks for movement and I move. And there are days of still water, when it is time to stay, to hold, to breathe in the same place without feeling I am falling behind.<\/p>\n
The river is in no hurry because it knows the sea is not going anywhere. I am learning that too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
